315 – Flexible Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)

Temperature Range:

Low Temp:    -60°C (-94°F)          Brittle -80°C (-112°F)

High Temp:   105°C (169°F)         Intermittent 101°C (214°F)

Properties

Flexible PVC has a broad operating temperature range (105°C to -60°C), are resistant to sunlight, abrasion, oils, and chemicals, and have a high degree of flame retardancy. They have proven to be extremely process worthy, exhibit excellent thermal stability, and offer a broad process-operating window.

They are a good choice for Industrial applications such as belting, seals, and gaskets due to their durability and resistance to oil and chemicals. They also have good compression set resistance to maintain shape, but also have exceptional abrasion resistance and excellent low temperature performance.

Applications

Flexible PVC is commonly used for Conveyor Belts & Cleats, Gaskets, Industrial Tubing, and Pipe Seals.
